How does a laser cutting machine work?

The laser cutting machine focuses the laser emitted by the laser on the high power density laser beam through the optical path system. The laser beam is irradiated on the surface of the workpiece to make the workpiece reach the melting point or boiling point, and the high-pressure gas coaxial with the beam melts or vaporizes the metal. As the beam moves relative to the workpiece, the material will eventually be cut to achieve the purpose of cutting.

The mechanical part of the laser head is not in contact with the work, and there will be no scratches on the work surface during the work. The laser cutting speed is fast, the cutting is flat and smooth, and generally does not require subsequent processing. The heat-affected zone of cutting is small, the deformation of the plate is small, and the cutting is narrow (0.1mm-0.3mm). The cuts are free of mechanical stress and shear burrs. High processing accuracy, good repeatability, no damage to the surface of the material; digital programming, can process all planes, no need to open the mold to cut out the whole board with a large width, economical and time-saving.

Laser cutting can be understood as edge separation. First, make the graphic into a vector diagram in AutoCAD, then save it in the corresponding PLT, DXF format, open the file with the laser cutting machine operating software, set energy, speed and other parameters according to the processing material, and then run.

After receiving the instructions from the computer, the laser cutting machine will automatically cut according to the flight path generated by the software. For example: according to the existing laser cutting machine and the template drawn by the computer, directly input the computer to automatically cut the graphics.
