Brass features and traditional cuts

Brass is an alloy composed of copper and zinc. Brass composed of copper and zinc is called common brass. If it is composed of two or more elements, it is called special brass. Brass has strong wear resistance and is often used in the manufacture of valves, water pipes, connecting pipes for internal and external air conditioners, radiators, etc. Finished brass blanks need to be cut during processing, and then finished after being cut to a certain length. With the development of industrialization, brass parts are used in more and more ways. Therefore, how to cut brass is very important.

Existing brass cutting usually requires workers to measure the length of the copper sheet to be cut, mark it, fix it, and then cut it with a cutting knife, but this not only leads to higher labor costs, but also requires manual control of the cutting quality. This method reduces production efficiency and is unfavorable for large-scale production. On the other hand, the cutter and the copper piece are prone to slip during the cutting process, which not only reduces the cutting accuracy, but also often causes burrs to appear on the incision of the copper piece, seriously affecting the cutting quality. When cutting brass, high-speed rotating saw teeth are also used for cutting, but the motor needs to be turned on first, and then the cutting disc is lowered to cut brass, which wastes power resources and requires labor. When the cutting disc is put down, the position of the cutting disc is controlled by hand, and there is no corresponding clamping device, which wastes manpower.

Pure copper and brass are highly reflective metal materials with extremely low absorption rate for ordinary wavelength lasers and good thermal conductivity. The absorbed heat will quickly spread to the surrounding processing area, affecting the processing quality. Therefore, CO2 lasers cannot be used for processing and cutting. In order to solve the above problems, the brass metal laser cutting machine developed by DXTECH came into being. Installation environment requirements

1   The ambient temperature is required to be between 15-45°C
2 Power grid requirements: AC380V±10%, 50Hz
3 The humidity requirement is 10%-80%. No condensation.
4 Power grounding resistance ≤ 5 ohms
5 There should be no strong electromagnetic signal interference near the installation equipment. Avoid radio transmitting stations (or relay stations) around the installation site.
6 Foundation amplitude: less than 50um; vibration acceleration: less than 0.05g. Avoid having a large number of stamping and other machine tools nearby.
7 There are strict requirements on the quality of the water, and it is required to use pure water. Tap water, mineral water and other water quality containing high metal ions or other minerals cannot be used.
8 Avoid working environments with heavy dust such as metal polishing and grinding.
